Access Log Manager
What's the purpose of the Access Log Manager? What sort of information will it give you?
An access log is a complete list of all the files which were accessed by the visitors of a particular site. Each and every file that was requested for whatever reason will be listed, so if you have only one page with three embedded images, one video and one embedded text file, for instance, the access log will contain a total of 6 entries - one for each of the six files that were accessed when the website visitor opened the webpage. A log typically offers the file name and path, the date, plus the visitor’s OS, web browser and IP address. Oftentimes you can also find the referrer sites that sent the visitors to your website. The info that an access log file contains is in human-readable plain text format. It can be processed by special software on a desktop machine and used to prepare reports on the performance of an Internet site, aside from the web stats which your hosting server may have generated.
Access Log Manager in Cloud Hosting
If you opt for one of our cloud hosting plans, you’ll receive thorough access logs for your websites. When you sign in to your Hepsia Control Panel, you can go to the Access/Error Logs section where you will see an extensive list of the domains and subdomains that you have added or created inside the hosting account. You'll only need to click on the On button, that's located on the right-hand side of each hostname and our cloud platform shall start generating logs straight away. To stop this feature, you'll have to follow the exact same steps and click on the Off button. The domains and subdomains can be handled separately and anytime. You'll find a download link inside the Logs section of the CP for any log generated by our system, so you can save the file to your laptop or computer and view it or use it via some log processing software.
